How do you find a writer for a new project? You probably start by looking at writers that already work in your vertical and reading a few of their relevant clips.
But finding a writer who’s already doing great work in your space can be tricky. So four of us, all experienced journalists and content writers, decided to make that easier by creating Your Writers Bench.
Instead of starting from scratch, you can quickly check Your Writers Bench and see who specializes in writing about your needed topic. Then you can easily click to any of our websites, see some of our writing samples, and connect with one of us directly.

Here’s who we are:
• I write about 𝐁𝟐𝐁 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 from my long-time family home in Hawaiʻi, often with the Merlin Bird ID app open. It gives context to the cacophony of birdsong I hear from my rainforest home.
• Ilima Loomis lives in Vancouver, Canada, and specializes in writing about 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. She also writes beautiful and acclaimed children’s books.
• Sarah Lindenfeld Hall writes about 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲. She is raising two incredible daughters in North Carolina.
• Katie Navarra Bradley lives in upstate New York, where she writes about 𝐇𝐑, 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩. She can see her horses out the window, and also provides well-received equine-assisted leadership coaching for business leaders.
